La Española

Hello careless readers, how have you been doing?

It’s an early morning today and we’ve come to Covent Garden to have brekkie and explore the city before it wakes up. To our surprise, as we walk along the now empty Covent Garden Market, we find this old-school piano lying around beautifully full of blossoming flowers. What a great picture set, am I right? Such a bummer the piano was so out of tune (even some keys were broken!) but it did bring to mine the good times of playing the piano and studying music when I was little.

The music world is a competitive one, and I’ve always felt that it enabled me to multitask, be competitive but also to understand others better. Not to mention it made my love for music even bigger! I still have my piano back home, which I’ve been terribly missing lately as I would get back to playing again. Thankfully I’ve got a little someone who can help me with that over in London :) Now I just need to have the discipline I use to have! I feel when you stop playing you get out of practice and confidence very quickly, and I used to suffer a lot of stage freight back in the day…either way, it always has a warm space in my heart.

Now back to my #outfitrole today. I’ve been feeling more and more proud of being Spanish lately, I feel it’s something that happens more often when you live home to live abroad. Its roots, its music, its food, and above all the people and its characters/ behaviours…is the best! So I thought, why not dress up representing my heritage? I feel very flamenca. OLE!
