Autumn Essentials
/Yes, it's that time of the year. That time when you wake up in the morning and you clearly don't know where the hell to wear. It seems it's going to be a grey day and it might rain, and then all of a sudden the sun comes up and you are wondering why you have so many layers on. Yes, autumn is back! Which means fashion weeks are over and a new season has started. You are allowed to renew your wardrobe now. YIKES!
However, I am not writing to tell you what you should be wearing but what everyone should have in their wardrobe. Those pieces that are timeless, no matter what trend is in.
Blazers. As many as you want, and as different as you can. It is the perfect item to have in your wardrobe, specially this time of the year. You wonder wether you should start wearing your winter coat, but then it's too warm to that. At the same time you don't want to wear your trench coat everyday either, so there you go.
Also, you can wear it in so many different ways! You can look smart while wearing it with a suit, or a LBD ("Little Black Dress") or you can play it casual and wear it with some ripped jeans.
Black is the colour. I mean, do I have to tell you why? As Karl Lagerfeld once said "One is never over-dress or underdressed with a Little Black Dress". And it is so true! And that applies to anything black. Whether it is a jumper, a top, a skirt...black suits anybody, so stock up!
Ankle boots. Every year I keep hearing the ankle boots dilemma. Should I get a new pair? They are SO last year...Ankle boots are ALWAYS going to be on trend. They are comfortable, they look good with anything you wear and therefore they are a must in your shoe collection. Miista has done an excellent job this season, so I would definitely suggest you to have a look at their newest collection.
Gold jewellery. Yes, yes, yes. I know everybody loves silver, but I am telling you: gold is timeless. I've noticed over the last years it has become more and more trendy but you should definitely stock up your jewellery set with some key gold pieces. If you are wondering where to get some I recommend you to look at Maria Pascual's collection (good quality-price items) or Monica Vinader.
