Carnaby Style Night
/Yesterday, Carnaby (in association with GQ) helped all fashionistas in the City to prep for the showbizz that it is going to be LFW. And what an event this was! Starting at 5pm and finishing by 9pm (for those early sleepers), Carnaby St and the Soho area were bursting with style.
I was bedazzled by how much the event had to offer and how well organized everything was. Pretty much all shops were offering a 20% discount and there were plenty of activities in-store and in the street. Of course, too many things to do and so little time! So these where my higlights of the night:
BEAUTY TREATS
Make Up Store was having an insta-fun activity outdoors, catching people in street to have a pic with their real-life instagram. They were also offering beauty sessions in-store while sipping wine or another drink of your choice. If this wasn't enough, you also got free mascara. Just because they wanted. Well done, guys!
Benefit was going nuts giving their first of all times discount in all of her beauty range products. And when purchasing three products you could also get a goodie bag. Additionally, they were doing facials and other beauty services while sipping pink champagne. How cute!
Outside the shop, there were the most talented group of girls singing and bringing the weekend mood to all of us in a very retro style. My fab performance, I can tell!
FASHION STYLING
Eleven Paris and many other shopshad amazing DJs on set for you to enjoy your shopping experience even more. To my taste, Ricki Hall was absolutely rocking it at Lyle&Scott...
Camper were sadly quite hidden from all the action. However, we manage to get there and have a look at their new collection.
Puma were going nuts taking polaroid pictures of all their customers. For me they became my best choice of the night when they offered me crips along with a beer. Absolute Winner! By the way, have you had a look at their new running clothing? Pretty cool.
FOODIES LOVE
I think the food provided by the event was what surprised me more. There was so many and so good!
Anna Maes had a stall providing all those hungry with a very generous portion of Mac&Cheese of your choice.
For a more fancy option, Wright Brothers Soho served oysters for £2 and glasses of Prosecco for £3 in Kingly Court.
Also in Kingly Court, You could get a complimentary Ringmaster cocktail from the 'Circus' pop-up bar hosted by Cirque Le Soir. Aaaand candy cotton for dessert! Nom nom.
Not to rub it in your face but what can I say...the whole thing was pretty awesome.
Stay tuned,
