Back to Fashion Week Madness

HOORRAY! It's that time of the year again! The posing, the crazy outfits and the fashion parades around Somerset House are back. YES, I am talking about London Fashion Week. And London is the best at the surprising factor. No matter how many years go by, every time there's something different. I feel people in London are more carefree, therefore they are willing to go a step further when it comes to clothing styles. It is true that sometimes is just because of the sake of it, or to make it into a fashion magazine. But hey, you've got to be brave to get out of your house with some of the outfits I've seen this year. Another thing I like about Fashion Week in London are the never ending activities that the City offers. Not only the private parties (that not so many can attend to) but the funny and entertaining activities that the big high-street brands offer to those who can't make it to the catwalk. And speaking about fashion-related activities, I highly recommend you going to see the Guy Bourdin exhibition at The Strand, which is on until the end of March this year.

But getting back to business, the catwalks. One thing I enjoy about LFW is the location of the catwalks. Tate Gallery, Kensington Gardens, Chinatown...a lot of non-fashion related iconic spots in the City surrender to fashion for a couple of days. The result is always incredible.

So far my favourite picks have been Topshop Unique, Simone Rocha, the quirky Sophia Webster and of course, the British Emporium, Burberry.

Question is, what were yours?
