Extra Grocery Shopping

I must admit, since the lockdown finished more than 6 months ago, I have barely cooked. Which is quite the change to what we have been doing over the past year and a half at my household. We became proper chefs (heck out foodie monsters at home as proof!)!

It good a bit too much by the end, and I think I am just revelling against it now. There is such great cooking talent in London. Even after Brexit, even after COVID-19, I still love eating out, and I have been absorbing it as much as I can since the lockdown eased.

That is not to say that one must eat and we still need hit the grocery store every now and then. I want to keep that cooking vibe alive.

Now the interesting part about all this is that I keep finding this pattern on my outfits every time I go out recently. It is either extremely casual, or totally extra, there’s no way in between. Is this a consequence of COVID-19? I feel like there is no time to loose faffing around trying to please anybody, and what if I want to go grocery shopping with my NYE coin dress or my CNY red gown

If there is something I’ve taken away from this pandemic, is that clothes are to be celebrated, especially if you are into fashion as much as I am. To put it bluntly, my wardrobe at home is endless and I love every single piece in it. So why wait for a special occasion to wear any of it? I dressed up almost everyday of lockdown, and I am not going to change that now that we are all out.

We only live once, wear what feels god damn good with yourself.
